We start our trip with a brief safety speech and inform you about our vessel, then our skipper will head out from the mooloolaba marina on parkyn parade out into the main canal.

We will take you past the mooloolaba wharf complex famous for underwater world, we go close enough so you can view the tavern and restaurants. Marvel at the luxurious boats moored here.

Our trip then takes you past and around minyama island to showcase some of the sunshine coasts most prestigious waterfront homes, some of which are worth in excess of $14 million dollars, see houses featured on better homes and gardens and queensland and australian homes of the year.

mooloolaba sunset cruise sunshine coast Next we make our way up to outrigger island and the bridges of nicklin way before turning around to come back into the baronga broad water. Then its up to the river mouth where you will often see dolphins, stingrays and pelicans while taking in the breathtaking views of alexander headland. (Beautiful at night with all the lights)

Cruising back you will see the trawler fleet and the mooloolah river fisheries processing plant, if your lucky you may see some yellow fin tuna being unloaded ready for the japanese market.

Now its off down the main channel towards lawries marina and the kawana tavern, but not before a little detour to see Croc One the late Steve Irwin's custom designed research vessel and the families waterfront home.

The entire trip takes us about 2 hours cruising at a speed of about 3 knots.
